Wonton Pastry

  • Before Use: Take the product out of the freezer and leave it at room temperature for 2-3 hours to defrost. Due to no preservatives added, it is not recommended to store the product in the fridge or defrost it in the fridge. Black spots will develop overnight if it is kept in the fridge. Wrap the unused spring roll wrappers with plastic wrap and put them in a plastic bag to store in the freezer.
  • Wonton pastry can be used for: Making wontons, making dim sims, making scallion pancakes, deep fry, and etc.

Vegetable pork wonton:

  • Ingredients:Pork mince 400g, Chinese vegetable 100g, shallot 50g, sugar 4g, some chicken salt, sesame oil 5g, some pepper, salt 10g, garlic 7g, ginger 3g, some soy sauce, some cold water

Cooking Method:

  • Chopped Chinese vegetable into fine pieces and mix with salt. Place mixture in a clean tea towel and squeeze out all the water. Place garlic and ginger in the blender and cut them into fine pieces, and also cut shallot into cubes. Place pork mince and all the seasoning into a mixture: mixed them together by adding cold water until it feel sticky. Then add all the vegetables into it. The filling is now ready to be used for making the wontons. After the wonton have been made, you can go to the wonton cooking method and follow the steps to cook the wontons.
